Delete your CoinSend account

CoinSend (the CoinSend mobile app from Coinsend Technologies Ltd) does not yet offer in-app account deletion. Follow the steps below to request that we delete your account and associated personal data.

How to request deletion

1. Email support@coinsend.io from the same email address you used to register in the CoinSend app.
2. Use the subject line Delete my CoinSend account.
3. Include the full name on the account and, if you have it, the phone number linked to M-Pesa withdrawals.
4. We will confirm the request and close the account. We aim to complete this within 30 days of a verified request.

What we delete

After we verify the request, we delete the CoinSend account and personal data we hold for that user (name, email, phone, and profile details) so the app can no longer be used with those credentials.

What we may keep

Kenyan AML and record-keeping rules require us to retain certain transaction records (for example deposit and withdrawal history) for a minimum of seven years. Those records are kept only as required by law, not for marketing.
